Author Lou Hernandez has written an excellent book on Latin American Baseball. The book “The Rise of the Latin American Baseball Leagues, 1947-1961” covers the Cuban, Dominican, Mexican, Nicaraguan, Panamanian, Puerto Rican and Venezuelan leagues. The book is available online.
