A star in the Cuban League, Negro League, Major League, and Mexican League; Miñoso has devoted his life to baseball. His number “9” has been retired by the White Sox and his statue stands on the outfield concourse at U. S. Cellular Field. Known for is longevity, he is baseball’s only 7 decade player.
